Privacy Policy

Teratorn (“the app”) is built to respect your privacy. This policy explains, in plain terms, what the app does and doesn’t collect. The short version: we don’t collect personal information, run ads, use analytics, or track you.

Single-player

When you play against the AI, Teratorn runs entirely on your device. It collects and transmits no data — no account, no analytics, no network calls.

Online multiplayer

If you choose to play online with others, the app uses Unity Gaming Services (by Unity Technologies) to connect players. To make that work, the following is processed:

An anonymous player ID — a random identifier assigned by Unity so the game can connect you to a match and recognize you if you reconnect. It is not linked to your name, email, phone number, or any real-world identity.
A display name you choose — the handle you set for multiplayer, which is shown to the other players in your match so everyone can tell who’s who.

This information is used only to provide multiplayer connectivity (matchmaking and relaying game moves between players). It is never used for advertising, marketing, analytics, tracking, profiling, or sold to anyone. Unity processes it as our service provider to operate the multiplayer feature; see Unity’s Privacy Policy. Data is encrypted in transit.

What we do NOT collect

No name, email address, phone number, or postal address.
No location data.
No contacts, photos, messages, or files.
No advertising ID, and no ads or ad networks.
No analytics, crash tracking, or usage profiling.
No user accounts or passwords — multiplayer sign-in is anonymous.

Children

Teratorn is intended for players aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided data through the app, contact us and we will remove it.

Data retention & deletion

The anonymous multiplayer identifier is minimal and tied only to game connectivity. If you would like any data associated with your use of Teratorn deleted, email yongjip@gmail.com and we will handle your request.

Changes to this policy

If the app’s data practices change, we’ll update this page and revise the date above.
