This site contains product information and support guidance. We do not add analytics, advertising scripts, or tracking cookies. It is hosted on GitHub Pages; GitHub handles hosting requests under its privacy statement.

Codex Control

The plugin runs locally. It reads recent task titles, task identifiers, and model settings through Codex components on the same Mac. It sends model, effort, and Fast changes to the current task window or the task explicitly selected by the user. Remote tasks use the running Codex app and its saved host-routing information; the plugin does not request remote credentials or open independent SSH sessions. It does not submit prompts or send analytics to Oddfin.

Stream Deck saves button configuration, including any fixed task identifier, in your local profile. Local diagnostic logs can contain task identifiers and error messages. Task content and credentials are not bundled in the installer. Codex and its CLI remain subject to their own data handling policies.

Current window mode requires macOS Accessibility access and briefly uses the clipboard to copy the task link. Supported clipboard formats are held temporarily in memory and restored if no intervening change is detected. Clipboard history apps may retain the temporary link. Clipboard contents are not logged or sent to Oddfin.

Removing local data

Remove the plugin’s keys from your Stream Deck profiles to remove their saved settings. Local diagnostic files are stored in the plugin’s logs directory. Uninstalling the plugin does not delete Codex tasks.

Support through GitHub

Support is handled through GitHub Issues. Your GitHub username and the information you post are public. We use reports to investigate problems and answer questions. Do not post credentials, private task content, or personal information. You can edit your own posts using GitHub’s controls; for removal requests, follow GitHub Support. GitHub handles account and platform data under its privacy policies.
